Bacolod Hobbyist Tip: In the aquarium industry, the much more common Leopard Cory (Corydoras trilineatus) is almost always mislabeled and sold as a Julii. To tell them apart like a pro: Leopard Cories have a maze-like pattern of connected squiggly lines on their heads, while a true Julii Corydoras features fine, cleanly separated individual dots.
Because these are premium bottom-scavengers, a soft, fine sand substrate is absolutely mandatory.
