Quick Overview
The Pygmy Corydoras (Corydoras pygmaeus) is a massive favorite in the nano-aquarium hobby. Unlike most larger Corydoras that stay strictly glued to the substrate, Pygmy Cories uniquely hover and dart together in tight schools through the middle of the water column. Maxing out at barely over an inch in length, their metallic silver bodies and bold black horizontal stripes make them a striking and highly entertaining addition to any peaceful community tank.
